Your methods are useful, but you need to talk about them more specifically
You became a coach because you found some stuff that works for you and you want to help others who have the same problems.
But, when you try marketing your methods, no one seems to get it.
You know your approach would help other people (after all, it helped you), but you can’t figure out how to express it in a way that will resonate with them.
Marketing coaches tell you to “pick a niche.” But, how can you decide on just one niche when your method is so broadly applicable?
You must get out of your comfort zone and narrow your focus
The reason you’re struggling is that you’re trying to offer something from your own perspective, not theirs. But, you’re an expert and they’re not. That means your perspective is the wrong one.
You’re seeing things more broadly than they are. You have to narrow your focus (to what will feel like an absurd degree) to be recognizable to them.
The truth is that people won’t sign up unless you’re offering something that fits into a box they already have in their mind. No one signs up for “life realignment” but they do sign up for “life coaching.” It’s a thing. They’ve heard of it.
What we’ll do in this session
In this session, I’m going to talk you through a 7-step process of figuring out how you can take your useful method and fit it into a box that people will pay for.
By the end, you’ll have a quick sales page that will be targeted to a specific market that actually exists in real life and that you’re excited to serve.
