I get mildly depressed every once in a while. It's not a big deal. I have never been diagnosed or taken any drugs. I can still make it to work, and take care of the essentials.

I have heard the traditional advice, but I like your advice. I have tended to do steps 1 and 5, but not so much of 2-4. Step 2 was especially interesting. I do those things, and then then feel guilty about it, and try to rush on to step 5, and just try to make myself get over it."
