”Every time I make a mistake, I stop.”
This is a bad habit, and you should stop doing it.
“But Michael, I can’t stop stopping!”
Right, that’s because it’s a firmly ingrained habit.
“So, how can you tell me to stop stopping, then?”
I didn’t say it would be easy. I said it’s a bad habit, and you should stop doing it.
You know it’s a bad habit. That’s why you’re complaining about it.
But, you also know it’s hard to change. That’s because it is hard to change.
You CAN change. One step at a time.
Every single time you make a mistake and DON’T stop, you’re forging a new path. Keep going, and you WILL get there.

P.S. Yes, I know some of you don’t care about piano playing. Your loss.
P.P.S. Yes, I know some of you don’t like that I’m telling you what to do. Of course, you’re deliberately misunderstanding what I’m doing, just to sabotage my business. I’ve got my eye on you guys.
