Are you feeling stuck?

Here are three things about anxiety disorders:

  1. The problem is always avoidance.
  2. The solution is always exposure.
  3. Everything you complain about is the result of an anxiety disorder.

WHAT???? 😲

Sorry, I always forget to put the trigger warning at the beginning of the email. Damn it. 🤦‍♂️

OK, consider yourself warned (retroactively).

You feel stuck because you're acting stuck. You're acting stuck because you're afraid of moving. The only way to move is by moving.

If you had no fear, you'd have nothing to complain about. You'd be acting instead of complaining.

Before you say anything, no, it's not possible for someone to prevent you from acting. It only seems that way because you're fixated on that particular strategy, and are unwilling to accept anything else as “acting.”

Come on, snap out of it.

Yes, it's your fault.

Sorry not sorry.

No, you can't snap out of the flu, but you can indeed snap out of an anxiety disorder.
